Meet Megan & Tim
The People Behind Pawsitive Purrfection
Pawsitive Purrfection is a husband-and-wife-owned dog training and structured daycare business in Pflugerville, TX. Together, we’ve spent nearly a decade caring for dogs and building a business centered around providing a safe, structured, and personal experience for every dog in our care.
Megan is a Certified Dog Trainer (CCDT) through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. Before earning her certification, she spent over a year studying canine behavior, completed more than 100 hours of hands-on volunteer work, and worked alongside a professional training mentor. Her approach focuses exclusively on positive reinforcement, relationship-based training, clear communication, and helping dogs become calm and confident in the real world.
Tim is co-owner of Pawsitive Purrfection and plays a hands-on role in the dogs' care each day. He helps with walks, takes the adult dogs on field trips and adventures, assists with daily routines, and helps keep our environment clean and safe by regularly cleaning and sanitizing the yard and play areas. He's also often the first friendly face you and your dog see at drop-off and helps keep our busy days running smoothly.
Dogs Aren't Just Our Business
They're a huge part of our life, too.
At home, we share our lives with our six dogs: senior Chihuahuas Chloe and Lily, Puggles Chet and Buck, and our bonded rescue Puggles Bea and Fern.
Megan also enjoys competing in canine scent work with Chet and has started Buck in the sport. When Tim isn't helping with the dogs, you'll usually find him playing golf, watching Chiefs football, or enjoying a rare chance to relax.

We're intentionally a small husband-and-wife business. This allows us to know the dogs in our care, understand their individual personalities, and provide the structure, attention, and guidance they need.
Our goal is simple: help dogs and their people build stronger relationships through positive reinforcement, structure, enrichment, and clear communication.
